When did you first get into design?

I was given a dollhouse when I was 5 years old. I loved finding furniture and finishes that fit the time period.

What is your favorite style of design?

I really like most styles of design. My home has what I call a Charleston South Carolina feel. I love the soft blues and relaxing colors.

How do you approach design jobs?

I really try to listen to each customer and try to find out what they want. I’ll make suggestions to try to narrow down options so they don’t look at options that don’t interest them.

What advice would you give someone considering a kitchen/bath remodel?

Think about the overall look you want and have a realistic budget.

What’s your favorite book?

I love anything by Colleen Hoover. And my all-time favorite book is The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

What is a fun fact about you?

I love to spend time with my family.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

Seeing customers get excited about selecting the finishes.
