Makenna Joseph was our kitchen designer. We had waited decades to renovate our kitchen and had some false starts before. Makenna successfully created a beautiful and functional kitchen design. She listened. She adapted. She made great suggestions, and her suggestions really elevated the final result.

Once designed, the entire team of skilled specialists were organized and scheduled by an excellent Project Manager, Jubilee Bancroft. Jubilee is a great communicator. She provided a calendar of the initial install plan. Of course, no large project can avoid mishaps, but how you deal with them is the measure of a great Project Manager. A cabinet or 2 arrived broken, Jubilee was able to expedite replacements and keep the work going. She had a great rapport with her team, too. I don't know everyone's names, but John did an outstanding job, working continuously and making adjustments as required. The painter was so skilled and such a nice guy. The electricians were top-notch; we had worked with Pye2 Electric before. The drywallers were Dylan and Darick from 3D Ceiling Art. These young men have skills!

Overall, I was impressed with Kitchens by Oaks' integrity and honesty. We went over a final punch list of the last small things that needed to be done, and Jubilee agreed. Those things got done quickly.

We have had our new wonderful kitchen for about a week, and we've already cooked a few meals, and with a little more time, we may believe it is actually ours.

We were so impressed with every step in the remodel of our bathroom. Olivia helped us choose materials that blended perfectly with the parts we weren’t replacing. Eli, who did all the work from plumbing and electrical and painting to the tile of the shower, including the ceiling, is a master craftsman and artist who consulted with us daily with suggestions and questions to be sure everything turned out exactly as we wanted. The shower glass installation by Skill Glass is stunning. They worked hard to access the gunmetal hardware to match everything else. And thanks to Brian, who coordinated it all!

We just finished a complete kitchen remodel with Kitchen by Oaks, and the whole experience was wonderful. From the very beginning, Amanda listened to what we wanted and helped us design a space that truly feels like “us.” Jubilee's crew was friendly, respectful, and took such care with every detail.
There were moments where decisions felt overwhelming, but they were patient and walked us through options without ever making us feel rushed. I always felt heard, and it shows in the final result — our kitchen is both beautiful and functional, and it’s quickly become the place where our family gathers the most.
This project could have been stressful, but instead it felt exciting because we trusted the team completely. I’m so grateful for their hard work and care, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Kitchen by Oaks to anyone dreaming of a remodel. I know we will be giving them a ring when we are ready to complete our bathroom project next!

I hope that I'm leaving this review in the right place. We did not have our kitchen remodeled, but we hired Oaks/Graves Brothers Construction for an exterior construction project. The team was fantastic, from beginning to end. I live in a very old house; we needed a severely water-damaged deck-type structure at the front of the house to be completely removed & replaced (the "deck" covers part of an old root cellar). It turned out that to make the structure waterproof (absolutely essential), it required a rather complicated bit of team-work between Oaks's carpentry and construction crew & their roofing unit. Bryan A. was the project manager, and he was personable, professional, and communicative. He always made sure to keep us updated and informed as to our options and our progress. John C was the lead construction engineer/carpenter on the project. He was friendly, knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient. After John had torn out the old deck, he noted a problem with the underlying structure -- a water damaged & severely rotten load-bearing beam that needed to be replaced. I was rather distraught about the discovery, but John reassured me that he could almost certainly come up with a solution that didn't require knocking out walls and such in my 175 year old house. Indeed, John & Bryan worked out a plan to shore-up everything and to replace the rotten beam. Then John (with the diligent help of Joe and Nathan) executed the job, with only a single extra day added to the project, in order to remove & to replace the old rotten beam. Amazing. The roofing crew arrived and completed their work in short order; then John & Nathan finished the project. The new deck is beautiful and sturdy, and it seamlessly blends with the architecture of the house. I'm thrilled! John, Nathan, and Joe did an excellent job. Not only were they extremely hard workers, they also told me a lot about the construction of my home and about various building techniques that were used in the 1850s when the house was built. These guys functioned not only as top notch construction & carpentry professionals, they were also (essentially) historians, structural engineers, artists, and architectural archeologists. They were also friendly, competent, and completely reassuring. When the project was finished, Bryan called to make sure that we were happy with the final product, and he insured that all of the extra materials & refuse were picked up and removed within a day of completion. Overall, I'm absolutely delighted. The cost of this project wasn't cheap (what is these days?), but it was certainly reasonable, given the extensive work that needed to be done. In the future, should we have any other construction or renovation projects, we will definitely call Oaks, and I would, without hesitation, recommend Oaks to others. Many thanks to John, to Nathan, to Joe, to Bryan, & to the roofing crew for a top quality job done well!

Travis was fantastic! I had interior doors replaced, including an odd-width closet door that was difficult to fit (older home). Cutting the door down made the stile on one side narrow, so Travis cut some pieces to customize the door and make both sides equal. Now that it's painted, you can't even tell. He also prepped and installed several other doors and they look so good. A special thank you Travis!

Lloyd did a great job painting - I can't believe how neat he was, and the doors look beautiful. After the paint cured, Rocco stopped by to wrap up the loose ends. Shawn, the Installation Manager kept the project moving smoothly and communicated with me as necessary throughout the process.
